We have been working on our book for five years, and yesterday we learned that page proofs are on the way to us from Texas A&M University Press. We have 3 weeks to proof the text, index it, and send it back for printing. With luck Exploring the Edges of Texas will be ready for distribution by the end of February or first of March, 2010. It is the account of our circumnavigation of the 4,000 mile long border of the Lone Star State, much of it covered in our trusty 1995 Chevy Silverado pickup shown here in Big Bend State Park.
